Repairs & Returns
Built tough. Backed direct.
Grippen is engineered for site abuse, but tools live hard lives. Here's exactly how we stand behind ours.
The 3-year warranty
What's covered, what's not, and where the line sits.
- Covered: the lift mechanism (motor, lead screw, guide posts)
- Covered: the chassis (aerospace-grade aluminium housing, 4130 chromoly forks)
- Covered: the sealed gearbox and control electronics
- Covered: manufacturer defects and engineering wear across the 3-year term
- Not covered: drop damage from a height beyond normal handling
- Not covered: fluid ingress beyond the IP54 rating
- Not covered: unauthorised modifications
Outside warranty doesn't mean stranded. See below.
Wear parts ship direct
Replaceable in minutes, anywhere.
The wear parts you'll replace over the tool's life are stocked in Australia and ship from Melbourne. No proprietary tools. Anyone with a screwdriver can fit them on-site, no workshop visit, no downtime.
- Rear castors
- Ball-transfer units (front)
- Fork grip pads
- Battery contacts
Out-of-warranty repair
Tools live hard lives. We don't strand you.
Tool damaged on a job, dropped from a ute, or just past its 3-year term? Send us a photo. We quote the repair before any work starts, so no surprise invoices.
How it works
Three steps. No ticket queue.
- Contact us. Photo of the issue plus the serial number (etched on the rear of the housing). Direct line to the founder, no ticket queue, no call centre.
- We diagnose. Most issues resolve with a wear-part shipment to your site. Deeper repairs return to our Melbourne workshop using a prepaid label we provide for warranty claims.
- Back in service. Field repairs same day. Workshop repairs return shipped at our cost when covered by warranty.
Australian designed. Australian supported.
No grey market. No offshore-only support.
Designed in Melbourne, supported from Melbourne, parts stocked in Australia. When you call about a fault, you talk to a Melbourne-based engineer, not a queue.
