How it works

Four taps. One record.

  1. Scan. QR code on the top of the tool opens the logbook on the installer's phone. No app install required.
  2. Capture. Appliance type, customer name, and contact. GPS-stamped install address auto-populates from the phone's location. Timestamped on submission.
  3. Photograph. The finished install. Appliance level. Plumbing, electrical, gas connections sealed. Floor undamaged. Cabinet face clean. Photo evidence the customer walks the install with you.
  4. Sign. Customer signs on the phone screen, confirming the install was completed without damage to floor, cabinetry, or appliance. The branded PDF generates on the spot, ready to share via your phone's native share sheet (email, AirDrop, messages) or download to your archive. Signed, dated, GPS-stamped, ready before you pack up.

Liability defused at handover

The customer signs the screen confirming the install was completed without damage to floor, cabinetry, or appliance, with photo evidence, GPS location, and timestamp baked in. Three weeks later when the liability claim arrives, your evidence arrives first. The single strongest piece of paper your public-liability insurer has ever seen on an install.

For luxury appliance installers (Miele, Gaggenau, Liebherr, Smeg) and high-end fitouts: a branded record handed to the customer at completion raises the perceived quality of the service. Reads as care, not cover-your-back.

Logbook FAQ

What trades ask first.

Do I need to install an app?

No. The logbook is a web app accessed by scanning the QR on the tool. Works on any modern smartphone, no App Store or Play Store install required. You can save it to your home screen if you want a one-tap launcher.

Does it cost extra?

No. The logbook is included with every Grippen at launch. No subscription, no per-record fees, no premium tier locked behind a paywall. Tradies pay for the tool once and own the workflow.

What if I'm on a job with no signal?

The logbook captures everything offline. Photos, signature, notes. When you're back in coverage, the record syncs and the final PDF is ready to share or download. Tradies don't have to wait for service to finish a job.

What about customer privacy?

Customer details are only used to populate the job record, create the PDF you share with the customer, and keep your local archive. Never shared, never sold, never used for marketing. See the privacy policy for the full APP-compliant detail.
